I love my Peterson Strobo SC-1 tuner that I've had for many years. Recently the clamp broke, and when I saw that the SC-1 model had been retired, I contacted Peterson through their website to inquire about possible solutions. John Norris of Peterson was kind enough to respond and to send me, free of charge(!), a complimentary modified replacement HD clamp that works on the old SC-1. What a first rate customer service act! Now this SC-1 has much more life.
My Peterson strobe tuner is the exclusive tuner of my Beard dobros.The dbH sweetened tuner setting lowers the B string just right to my ears.
