This is my second Peterson stroboclip tuner. I love the adjustments I can make for my Mandolin or guitar. My new HDC will go on my Eastman MD415-BK Mandolin.

I have a variety of Petersons tuners and none of them have let me down. I even still have my original VS-1 that I still use on my workbench.

The new StroboClip HDC is great. It's my 3rd StoboClip. The original Silver version had issues with the clip, I wrapped a rubber band around it and gave it to my daughter, she won't use it much. I then bought the next model which was much improved physically. When I went to buy a new one for my guitar student, they were banned in Australia because of the ease of access to the button battery (which it seems young children like to eat :-( ) So I ordered 2 of the new rechargeable version (one for him and a spare for me). It arrived last week. And it's even better than the previous one. I wasn't sure I'd want to connect it to the Internet (being an ICT Security guy). But after charging it, I connected it to Peterson connect, registered it and updated the firmware. I'd never go back to a digital tuner, not that the good ones are useless (I still have a really nice Korg), but the sampling lag and "dead Zone" inherent in that design makes them no where near as good as the StroboClip ...

This is a sweet little tuner, sits perfect on my bass headstock through out a gig and I can do a qiuck tune check when ever I like without having pedals and s**t on the floor to press.
